Andrew (Andy) Dunlop
Vice President, Network Operations/Managed Hosting
Andy joined DynaSis in 1996 as a Network Engineer, but his energetic assistance in extending DynaSis’ service portfolio has taken him to the position of Vice President over Data Centers & Web Services. With more than 17 years experience in information technology, including roles in engineering, management and business development, Andy oversees DynaSis’ core hosting infrastructure and both designs and implements client solutions.
While in the position of Service Manager, Andy successfully led his implementation teams through a major technology expansion period for DynaSis. In 1998, his Internet solution expertise became a foundation for the company’s decision to add Internet Hosting Services to its portfolio. Services he developed include email content security, application hosting and managed cloud services, all of which also became an integral part of DynaSis’ solutions for client LANs (Local Area Network).
The innovative thinking and astute decision-making Andy brings to his work at DynaSis also served him well in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed tours of duty in Operation Desert Shield/Storm and Operation Restore Hope in the 1st Marine Division, 3rd Light Armored Infantry Battalion.
Although he was raised in Ithaca, New York, Andy and his family love their Georgia life. However, when he takes a turn at the BBQ grill (a favorite pastime) Andy’s specialty is Texas-style brisket.
