1. Can DynaSis host my website?
Absolutely. DynaSis hosts a range of websites, from a simple online brochure (known as Brochureware) to large e-commerce sites spread across many servers.

2. How do I upload my site to the server?
To upload your site you must use a process called FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or if you are using Microsoft FrontPage you can use its publish function. Most web design applications have built-in FTP functionality.

3. Do you support Microsoft FrontPage Extensions?
Yes. Let us know that you will be using FrontPage and we will install FrontPage Extensions on your website free of charge.

4. Is there a limit to the size of the websites that DynaSis can host?
There is no limit to the size of your website. Our basic hosting plan starts at 100 megabytes of storage space; if you require extra space, your plan can be upgraded.

5. Can DynaSis host my email?
Yes. You can have email delivered to your own domain through our stable and secure mail systems.

6. Can you host my email without hosting my website?
Certainly. All of our services can be ordered a la carte, or call DynaSis for special package pricing.

7. Can DynaSis stop Spam?
Yes. DynaSis offers SpamSniper, a managed solution offering complete protection of your email from spam and viruses. This provides you with a defense against the latest content security threats ensuring the integrity of your network

8. Can SpamSniper protect me if my email is hosted elsewhere?
Absolutely. SpamSniper is an external mail solution that works with any SMTP compliant email system, including Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes/Domino, Novell GroupWise, and Sendmail.

9. How can I check my email?
You can check your email two ways. Simply use your favorite email client or check your email with any web browser at MAIL.YOURDOMAIN.COM. As more web terminals become available for public use at hotels, airports and other public places the ability to check email via the web is a tremendous convenience.

10. Can I legally monitor my employees' email?
Yes. Several court cases have upheld that checking email after transmission is legal, since it is viewed as no different as searching through a file in an employee's drawer. It is best not to single out an individual unless there is clear reason to do so. If you single out a person, the company could be found to be discriminatory.

11. Can you host a server I already have?
Yes. Place your Web, Mail, or Applications in our secure collocation space. You maintain total ownership and can choose to between Managed and Unmanaged services. Either way, our expert technicians are available to ensure the ultimate in reliability.

12. Is my equipment being monitored after hours?
Yes. We have fully automated monitoring systems to ensure all services and hardware are up and running. An escalating sequence of alerts ensures that problems are identified and fixed as quickly as possible.

13. What is DynaSis doing to keep spyware off my machine?
As a part of our Digital Veins Partner level plan, members are provided Digital Veins Network Management which runs recurring spyware scripts for the removal of spyware, as well as running critical patch updates, and providing proactive maintenance. It is important to have all users log off of their workstations in the evenings and on the weekends, then simply turn off their monitors only. This automated program will help prevent any unnecessary down-time and will ensure your network is running at peak performance at all times.

14. Why do I have to leave my machine on at night and on the weekends?

Absolutely. Our backup sets include all of our hosted servers. If you like, we can also provide you with periodic backups of your data on CDROM, DVD, or tape.

16. Who is responsible for maintaining my domain name?
Let us host your domain name. Our servers will provide DNS hosting for your domain name while our engineers will provide all the maintenance.

17. Who is responsible for renewing my domain name?
You are responsible for keeping your account up to date and domain name registered with your chosen Registrar. Make sure that you are listed as the domain contact to ensure that you receive notifications such as renewal notices.

18. What technical support do you offer for hosting?
We provide technical support in relation to the functions of your hosting account (e.g. uploading your web pages, setting up email, etc.). Please note the support does not extend to designing your site, writing scripts, etc.
